Coming home

I did not have internet connection for a number of days which is really terrible but luckily, I got connected today and I won't have to go out and use a public computer to do this. I could question the wisdom of writing articles everyday because there is just no guarantee that anyone will find your pages much less, read them.

Some words here and there published in the world wide web should give me some kind of psychological high. I like to do things and I would be totally bored if I was do to nothing at all.

Dennis is coming home soon. It will be Ira's birthday on July 17 and he should be home for that. It has been a long time since I saw this boy and it would be good to talk to him again.

Still doing something

I have found something which might be cool to know. I learned that I might be able to improve the rankings of my site by doing some seo work. This has been a real pain for me because nothing seems to work. Well, I went to Cagayan de Oro a while back and I forgot all about doing anything else except promote one little tiny little site.

I found that I could do something that might be considered right because my rankings went a little bit better. I have something on page two and that is no mean feat. I will be going back to Cagayan and I will redouble my efforts to make my sites rank a little better.

I might even get my little webserver back online. That would really be cool.

Mind Control

I am making a series of posts which are spread across a number of blogs and they deal with changing one's life very specifically my life. I am sick of my life and my lack of control over it and I have therefore embarked on a program of changing my life by changing my mind and the way my mind makes thoughts. This is something I have been doing on and off, trying to change my life that is, but this is the first time that I am going to talk about it and post my progress as well as the thoughts and philospohies related to it.

deja vu, each, eager, ear, earache, eardrum, earhart, earl, earlobe, early, earmark, earn, earnest, earnings, earphone, earring, earshot, earth, earthen, earthenware, earthling, earthmover, earthquake, earthshaking, earthworm, ease, easel, east, easter, eastern, easy, eat, eatery, eau, eaves, eavesdrop, ebb, ebony, ebook, ebullience, eccentric, ecclesiastical, echelon, echo, eclair, email

Anyway, here's Cagayan de Oro City with another one: Cagayan de Oro City. My Cebu City site has made pr1, surprise, surprise. Dumaguete is still in the boondocks as far as Google goes but Dumaguete has made some headway. Jai Alexander rocks!

Some more goodies

There is a new site with a beguiling title. The main theme is illusion, as life, the universe, existence can be deemed as being illusory. Before you say your protestations, physicists have discovered that at the sub-atomic level, reality is not as fixed or concrete at all. Consider a neutrino, it is so small that it could go through anything. To a neutrino, we don't exist at all. In an atom, the distance between the nucleus and its orbiting electrons might as well be endless space since they will never meet.

a-frame, a-list, abaca, abacus, abattoir, abbey, abc, abdominal, abduction, aberdeen, abnormal, abortion, abracadabra, abrasive, absent-minded, absinthe, absolute, absorbent, abstract, absurd, abu-dhabi, abuse, abyss, acacia, academic, acadia, acapulco, accent, access, air, blog, bob-dylan, Ching’s Illusion,

The ancients were therefore right in considering existence as being illusory and impermanent in nature. Who remembers us when we go? Those who know us in life but when they too go then there will be no one to remember us. When there is no one to know of our existence, would we have mattered at all?

Come On Down!!

It might be a while before Densoy comes back from the cruise ship in Europe where he works. I often wonder how he does it, working on a cruise vessel. For sure, he gets to see many places in Europe and even in Egypt, an experience completely alien to me. I never go anywhere except when I go to Cagayan de Oro. The web is my world and it suits me fine. I guess it might be a matter of temperament. I do not like to go to strange places at all. For one thing, I would miss my plants and my daily routine. I check my websites and do things and that on my computer. Everything is just the way I like it except for the part where I make money. If I could make some money from the Internet then it would be the best life ever.

I did make some money by pure chance last year but it was the only money I made on the Internet. It tok a bit of maneuvering before I could spend that money. I mostly wasted it on scammy types of internet products. I consider it tuition money for my schooling on the internet. I could just see myself last year, drooling over some offering that would make me a super-rich internet guy. I still get these offers in my inbox but I look t them now with jaded eyes.

Leaving again in a few weeks

Dennis will be leaving again for Manila on Monday and later he will fly to the U.S. on his way to Europe to join his cruise ship. It will be a while before he comes back home again, between 6 - 8 months. Like many of his kababayan, he works abroad far from loved ones and family in an effort to make a decent living for himself. Ching's World talks about heroes like him whose toil and effort has kept the Philippines afloat in these hard times. Ching's world celebrates Dennis and those who serve like him in foreign lands. Ching's World salutes the overseas Filipino worker.

Enjoy these pages: War on Poverty? Reaching Out, Meditation, Underdogs World, Am I Asleep and Dreaming?

It is indeed a sad state of affairs when a son has to leave his family in order to earn a living. Is it so impossible to earn in his own country? Why does he have to go far and serve other people? Can he not earn a decent living here? Politicians have only given him lip service while they plunder the riches of the country without thought, without compunction, without a second look.

This is Ching's World, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Dumaguete, Papoy, Moira Trinity. There is plenty to be found in these and similar pages. Come visit and enjoy.

A father knows his son

A father will always love his son even when no words pass between them. He will always understand that he is difficult to communicate with. He just wishes that his son is still little and he can tell him things that won't be questioned. He knows that he might have let down his son many times without even realizing it. There will always be gaps between a father and a son but he wishes there were ways to bridge these.

Such is life and he just hopes that he has given his son enough hints about his thoughts and intentions and how he has lived his life in the hope that these may as guideposts, lead him to where he will be happy. Being stern and forcing the issue will only widen the gap and create animosity and rancor in a heart that may have been disillusioned.

Here is a website to show how much he loves the place where he was born. May it serve to open a similar love in his son.
